Senior Sunrise
By Anata Bezman

September 4, 2026, was a day many in the senior class had been looking forward to. After school, Stratford Prep’s second senior class gathered for an overnight Senior Sleepover, spending the evening together before watching the sunrise the next morning.
From 6 p.m. to 9 a.m., seniors spent the night playing games, enjoying catered Chipotle, and making new memories with friends. Students played capture the flag at 11 p.m., using flashlights as the flags, plus Impostor and charades, while others made friendship bracelets and tie-dye shirts. As the hours passed, seniors retreated to their tents across the quad, ready to rest before waking up for sunrise. In the morning, everyone gathered to watch the sky slowly brighten. After a fun but tiring night of laughing, playing games, and making memories, seeing the beautiful sunrise together made the experience especially memorable. The Senior Sleepover event gave the senior class a chance to celebrate the start of their final year at Stratford Prep and make new memories together before senior year got even busier. It was a fitting start to their last year together. Here’s to the rest of their senior year!
