HOSA's SLC Trip to Ontario

By Emma Yu

After almost half a year of hard work, studying hours after school every Monday and Wednesday, it was finally the moment that all of our HOSA students have been waiting for: the State Leadership Conference, where all California HOSA students compete and test in their respective events. Starting on the 26th of March, students were responsible for their own testing and workshop schedules which ranged from different times and days. Through these workshops, participants were able to gain knowledge and experience through academic lectures or hands-on activities.  This year was especially exciting for SPB HOSA as we were able to have the honor to host our very first SLC workshop on an introduction to fundraising. Special congratulations to all of our winners, who'll be representing our club at the International Leadership Conference! We are so proud of all our members and what they've accomplished this year. Go Lions!
